Vixen SPHINX SXP2 Equatorial GoTo Mount
We are representing the easy portability that gives maximum performance. The new high-quality SXP2 mount features more oversized bearings to increase accuracy and load capacity. Adding the PF-L polar axis alignment scope and Star Book Ten (SB10) computer control system boosts alignment, GoTo, and tracking accuracy. Micro stepper motors with a belt-drive system, 180-tooth brass worm wheels, and ball bearings contribute smooth and accurate tracking abilities, from minor to no vibrations.
This mount comes with a STAR BOOK TEN control system with a P-PEC "Periodic Error Corrections" function for precise tracking. The P-PEC process saves the corrections records, even after the power supply to the support has been achieved. It reviews the mechanics' errors that lead to periodic errors in the gear system.
The motor drives the use of gear wheels. Nonetheless, the design generates a reaction under the gear wheels, leading to defects or inaccuracy. Drive converted to belt drive system to prevent errors and ensure a fast response when necessary corrections are needed.
The SXP2 mount uses 16 and a set of tapered roller bearings for the RA axis to maintain stability for more accurate tracking.
And this SXP2 mount by Vixen uses the same fork as the heavy AXJ mount to maintain a stable and fast configuration.
The polar finder scope has a fickle bright reticle with an automatic power-off function. It is already pre-installed 6x20 polar finder scope, so we can configure polar alignment. Brightness is adjustable up to 8 levels, and the polar finder can reach an accuracy of up to 3 arc minutes.
An extra device tray can be hooked to the mount head directly. The mount head features eight threaded holes for M8 screws spaced at 45 degrees and has a diameter of 35 mm.
The STAR BOOK TEN controller with a high-resolution color display and built-in star chart contains more than 272,000 celestial objects, including 260,000 stars from the SAO catalog, 109 Messier objects, 7840 NGC objects, 5380 IC objects, and the soon, moon and planets. And this can be accessed by using names or images.
A combination of innovative, elegant design and user-friendly features with a P-PEC function and the STAR BOOK TEN controller. Precise tracking, easy to use, guaranteed to please imagers or observers.
There's a unique motor mount for a lighter counterweight; It has balance support with a significantly lighter compensation. Thanks to the flat mounting head.
There's solid stainless steel with a thickness of 20 mm counterweight bar. And it enables the use of all counterweights from the SX and GP mount series.
The #35511 opposite meter can be placed for quick and easy polar alignment, including a 3.7 kg counterweight, SXP2 mount, and star BOOK TEN control. Check this and Add it to the cart now!
