Introducing this high-quality and functional Vixen Astro LED Lamp SG-L02. For the perfect LED lamp, you must-have for the night observing sessions! We introduce this high-quality and functional Astro LED Lamp SG-L02 by Vixen. For astronomical observation, It is vital to adapt your eyes to the dark environment.

The shady sites are bad for visibility, and you need to prepare a lamp for setting up your equipment for Astro-imaging or observing. However, general lamps emphasize illumination intensity as important than protecting your eyes against the bright light. If such a lamp is used for night watch, it will be difficult for your eyes to see stars due to the solid stimulation.

Our first Astro LED lamp is a solution to this problem in which the SG-L01 red color lamp was incorporated, yet the range of that red light is narrow and not necessarily good at visibility. We have adopted the LED lamp's light bulb color to improve visibility with our Astro LED lamp SG-L02, which allows for avoiding unwanted influence on the eye's dark adaptation. The LED lamp's brightness is adjustable between 0.28 and 7.62 lumens in red color illumination and between 3 and 42 lumens in light bulb color.

Generally, white light bulbs have a wide range of wavelengths of light, and among them, the light near 555nm is mainly included. This range of light significantly influences the adaptation to dark environments the human. On the other hand, the LED lights feature narrow peak wavelengths, and designing a light source so that the light near 555nm is not included is possible. The Astro LED lamp SG-L02 uses LED light bulbs made not to emit the 555nm light & its adjacent. It allows us to keep moderate visibility while depressing the influence on your eye's adaptability.

The brightness of illuminationare steplessly adjustable ( 3 up to 42 lumens) in a light bulb color and that (0.28 up to 7.62 lumens) in red color. The lighting always starts with the dimmest position, and it's possible to increase the intensity to protect night vision gradually. You can choose either the light bulb or the red color to start.

The rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery is used. Using the supplied USB cable, you can refresh the battery from a USB battery charger or USB mobile battery. It is economical to use the battery repeatedly by recharging. Condensation and dew that may happen during the observing sessions at night work fine with no fear of influence. Usable in the rain (IPX4 class waterproofness).

It has two different lengths of straps—the long and the short ones. The long strap is available as a head strap, and the short is a wrist strap. Joining the two straps together will be usable as a neck strap. The detachable pocket clip is helpful for a shirt, collar, hat, or books and is available for a place if the strap is hard-to-use. 20 Day Returns/Refunds

Our return policy is 20 days after your package arrives, as determined by your tracking number. If it has been fewer than 20 days since you received your package, you will be eligible for a refund under one of the following criteria:

  • -If your package is unopened, you will eligible to receive a full refund, minus the return shipping costs.
  • -If your package has been opened, a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund, in addition to the return shipping costs. The reason for a restocking fee is to balance out labor costs to inspect, repackage and resell the returned item(s).
  • -If the package is damaged due to use, we will not be able to accept the return. However, every circumstance is different, and there are exceptions to the rule. Please email or call us to explain your situation and we will see what we can do to help you out.
  • -If the package is damaged upon arrival, then please make note of it when the package arrives. Let us know about the damaged item and we will send you a replacement ASAP! Why Do I Have To Pay The Return Shipping and Possibly A “Restocking Fee”?

But, despite our best wishes and intentions, we cannot offer complimentary return shipping for buyers remorse. In instances when the customer no longer wants the product, we do require they pay for the return shipping as well as a potential restocking fee.

So, the best solution we can offer is to provide friendly, professional advice to make sure you get the best equipment for your astronomy needs prior to initial shipment. Thank you for your understanding!

Where Do I Send The Returned Item?

To return your product, please get in touch with us at support@stellartelescope.com or 1-207-619-4875 and we will provide the appropriate warehouse address for your return.

Please make sure you are using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. We cannot refund an item that has been lost or stolen en route to us.

Regardless of circumstances, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
